Enjoy a free pick up by your friendly, local historian guide who speaks fluent English and who will pick you up at the lobby of your hotel on time.

Our first stop is at the Avoeden Cafe in El Poblado, known to have the best single origin coffee and Coca tea in town.
Guests will receive complementary coffee tasting at the Avoeden Cafe or can take it go in the vehicle.

You will be transported in a new comfortable car, van or Suv to the Great Rock of El Penol, (considered the best view of the world by many).
Sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenic ride, no need to worry about loud, obnoxious people, this is a private tour for only you and your party.
Your guide will provide you with a historical narrative of our land, culture, food, and customs while you indulge yourselves with incredible vistas.

Feel the cool breeze as you make your way up the 659 steps to the apex of the rock, be on top of the world and enjoy 360 unobstructed panoramic views!
Guests who can´t go up the steps due to medical conditions will get to walk around the rock area accompanied by our guide for equally stunning views of the lakes, islands and surrounding evergreen Andes mountains.

After a great leg work-out, lunch is next on our list. A 15 minute drive takes us to one of the many restaurants where you’ll relish lunch juxtaposed to the water (own expense).

We proceed to walk off the lovely feast we just had by touring the picturesque town of Guatape! Experience local art, the Carmen colonial church with wooden interior, calle Duque, calle de los Recuerdos, and the colorful Plazoleta de los Zocalos.

Two blocks from the town plaza, will take us to our next destination, the Promenade, were you will enjoy a brief stroll by the lake.

Last, take a nap and enjoy the safe drive as we head back home. You will be dropped off at your hotel or place of stay.

Guests that choose the Giant Waterfall upgrade option, will have an extra hour added to the tour.This is an all day experience, wear comfortable clothing along with tennis shoes. Book in advance, we tend to get fully booked.

If you cancel at least 7 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is no cancellation fee. If you cancel between 3 and 6 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is a 50 percent cancellation fee. If you cancel within 2 day(s) of the scheduled departure, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee.
